Dungeon Designer 3 was nominated for deletion. The discussion was closed on 14 February 2010 with a consensus to merge. Its contents were merged into Campaign Cartographer. Why does the link for an open source alternative keep getting removed on this? Wikipedia is meant for information - NOT as a commercial advertisement site, and as such there shouldn't be a problem providing alternatives to software!

The correct place for such a link would be under "See Also", not in the body of the text. See other entries such as Marmite. Such links should also list NBOS Fractal Mapper and other commercial products.

I noticed some questions about notability in the Afd for a related article: Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Dungeon_Designer_3 so I'll share the results of some minimal searching. I've added a review from AllGame.com; I suspect there are additional reliable sources discussing this software, based on the apparent interest in it.

This article's sole source is a web page hosted by Bright Hub, which just recapitulates the descriptions the publisher hosts on their site. In a google search, nearly every single hit contains content written by the publisher. Serious notability concerns here. If nobody replies to this, in a month or so I'll try to compile a list of map-making gaming software, include Campaign Cartographer in the list, and delete this article.
